Curriculum
Minimum requirements for all students include
2 years science, 2 years math, 4 years English, 4 years social science,
2 years foreign language, 2 years physical education, 1 year technical
art, 1 year visual/performing art, Life Skills and Health. Because
of the 4-year core of college preparatory courses, students who
complete this program exceed the entrance requirements for the University
of California.

SPECIAL NOTE: Advanced Placement and Honors
level classes are offered in Biology, English, Calculus, Government,
Physics, Foreign Language, and Chemistry .
NOTE: Honors and Advanced Placement courses
are essential for admission to most University of California and
other highly selective private colleges. Students should take 4
or 5 academic courses each semester of which 2 or 3 are H or AP
classes. Students must earn a “C” in the foreign language
and math class in which they are enrolled in order to advance to
the next sequential course. Below is listed the preparation a student
should have for various AP classes.
